Position: Game Master Trainee (Part-Time)

Job Duties 

• Cross-train in all areas of each escape game including front desk operations

• Control the flow of each game from start to finish; including, but not limited too guest check-ins, room rules, briefings, provide clues, take group photos, and escape room resets 

• Help co-workers during busy hours in all areas listed above to ensure all games start on time

• Reset game equipment when there is a technical issue with any part of the game

• Help create new escape games, as needed

• Provide excellent customer service to ensure all guests are having a fun and exciting experience even when they are not doing well

• Help keep the building clean (front lobby, escape rooms, game master control centers, restock candy, restock waters and sodas in cooler, sweep, dust, mop, etc.

Qualifications

• Must have good customer services skills with an outgoing personality and a clear and loud speaking voice, so customers can understand instructions given

• Must be a self-starter that does not need to be micro-managed

• Must work well with others and able to work as a team

• Must be willing to work nights and weekends

• Must be 16 years or older with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Must be able to learn new skills quickly; Must be able to take direction well from Lead Game Master, Manager, etc.

• Having a theater background, a love for escape rooms and/or Stranger Things is a plus, but not required

Note: On-the-job training is provided. We promote within and provide opportunities for advancement in areas of Lead Game Master, Assistant Manager, Social Media Marketing, etc.
